Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

I am very happy and feel honored and privileged to be the new Principal of St. Peter’s College, Agra. St. Peter’s college is an institution with 173 years of history. I am well aware of the legacy it has left behind in the hearts of its alumni in particular and the people of Agra in general.

St. Peter’s college has a sterling reputation for academic excellence and co-curricular activities. It has carved a niche for itself in the educational map of India. We leave no stone unturned to awaken the dormant talents of our students and hone them to perfection.

‘Palma-non sine pulvere’ i.e. there is no victory without hard work, is the motto of our college. We exhort the students to always strive for excellence in all fields by dint of their hard work.

According to Nelson Mandela education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change world. True education not only trains the mind but also the heart. Thus we can say that the heart of education is the education of the heart.

Parents play a vital role in the development of a child. School alone cannot do everything. Only if the stakeholders, the students, staff and parents, work in tandem excellence can be achieved. You have entrusted your children to our care. We will do everything possible to mould and groom them to become responsible citizens and better human beings.

I look forward to your wholehearted cooperation and support, so that we can together make St. Peter’s a power to reckon with in academic and co curricular fronts.

I take this opportunity to place on record my gratitude to His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Albert D’souza Archbishop of Agra, and President of the Governing Body of the College for his constant support and guidance. I am beholden to the ex-principal and manager, Fr. Paul Thannickal who steered the college from 2013-19.
