On this historic day, the Archbishop Most. Rev. Dr. Albert D'Souza presided over the function in the company of an august gathering. The Ceremonial lamp was lit by Rev. Fr. Andrew Corriea, Rev. Fr. Paul Thannickal, Rev. Fr. George Paul, Rev. Fr. Santeesh Antony, Rev. Sr. Daisy Maria, Dr. Neville Smith. Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Albert D'Souza unveiled the majestic portrait of the founder of the College, Most Rev. Joseph Anthony Borghi OFM Cap and the banner of 175th year celebration. |

| GRAND FINALE OF ETERNIA-2019 |
The Cultural Fest of St. Peter’s, ‘Eternia-2019’ was conducted from 25th September to 28th September this year. Eternia an annual... inter-house cultural fest of the college in which students of the all four houses lock horns with each other, exhibiting their talents. The inauguration of Eternia took place on 25th Sept. with Dr. Hemendra Chaturvedi, a renowned seurgeon of the city as its Chief Guest. The culmination of Eternia the ‘Grand Finale’ was staged on 28th September in which the last events, Group Dance and orchestra mark the closing of it. The coordinator of this event was Dr. A.P Antony and was organized under the guidance of Fr. Paul Thannickal (Manager), Fr. Andrew Correia (Principal) and Fr. Lawrence (Vice-Principal). The Dorilal Agarwal (DLA) Memorial Inter- School English Debate was organized on 21st September, 2019, in the Culture Hall of... St. Peter’s College. The heat of the discussion was ‘Democracy is Dying in the World’ Around 7 eminent school of the city participated in it. It was a fierce competition as all the debaters were determined to give their best. Out of all the schools, the students of our college emerged victorious from both the motions. Pranav Mahajan, speaking ‘for the motion’ and Devansh Arora speaking ‘against the motion’ bagged the first prize. The Best speaker was awarded to Pranav Mahajan. St. Peter’s College was declared the overall champions of the debate. |
