The Constitution Day was celebrated in St.Peter’s College Agra on 27th November 2017 during the morning assembly. It was held to commemorate the completion of our constitution on 26th November 1949 as suggested by our P.M. Sir Mr. Narendra Modi. A week long programme was conducted from 17th of November 2017 which culminated with the celebration on Monday the 27th November 2017.
The Chief Guest of the day was Rev. Fr. Varghese who gave us a very inspiring message of having trust in our constitution. He said the constitution should be regarded as a holy and sacred book. We should be honoring it and giving it the same status as of a holy scripture. He also emphasized on being truthful. Rev. Fr. Paul Thannickal (Principal) also expressed his views laying stress on the constitution to be an integral part of our life.
The Programme was filled with singing, dancing and receiving the message of the constitution and the ideals of the preamble.
