The Investiture Ceremony of the Senior Section of St. Peter’s College was held on 29th
July, 2022 the students’ parliament was formally constituted and the ministers took oath
of office. The Chief Guest for the occasion was GP Captain P. Biswal. The programme
began with prayer and welcome song. The badges were pinned on the shirts of all the
office bearers, the flags were presented to the House captains.
It was a very proud moment for all the parents who were present to witness this swearing
in ceremony. All the parliamentarians were given diyas in their hands which they placed
in front of the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi as a symbol of offering their dedicated
service in times to come. Rev. Fr. Andrew Correia (Principal) in his speech
congratulated the newly appointed Parliament and advised them to always be respectful
towards elders. He advised the parents to be encouraging to build their children’s
confidence and understand their passion.
