The Dorilal Agarwal (DLA) Memorial Inter- School English Debate was organized on 21st September, 2019, in the Culture Hall of St. Peter’s College. The heat of the discussion was ‘Democracy is Dying in the World’ Around 7 eminent school of the city participated in it.
It was a fierce competition as all the debaters were determined to give their best. Out of all the schools, the students of our college emerged victorious from both the motions. Pranav Mahajan, speaking ‘for the motion’ and Devansh Arora speaking ‘against the motion’ bagged the first prize.
The Best speaker was awarded to Pranav Mahajan. St. Peter’s College was declared the overall champions of the debate.
